AEP helps protect the environment

The AEP side-loading bin washer is an advanced system designed for cleaning municipal solid waste bins. The equipment consists of a washing chamber, a water storage tank, a bin lifting and placing mechanism, and a rear compartment.

The AISI 304 stainless steel tank features three watertight compartments running longitudinally along the vehicle. The two interconnected side compartments hold approximately 6,000 liters of clean water, while dirty water is collected in the central compartment, which also has a 6,000-liter capacity. This layout ensures optimal vehicle balance during transit.

The aluminum washing chamber houses all the necessary devices for the internal and external cleaning of the bins. Its upper section is sealed by a pneumatically operated sliding door.

The bin tipping device, driven by a hydraulic system and monitored by cameras and sensors, ensures the safe hooking and lifting of bins into the washing chamber.

The rear compartment contains all the control and regulation systems required for the equipment’s proper operation. The most important include:

• Hydraulic system components: enabling all equipment movements.

• Water system components: regulating the supply and distribution of pressurized water across the different washing phases.

• Electrical and pneumatic systems: essential for operating the bin washer and managing critical safety devices, ensuring full compliance with the Machinery Directive.

The entire system is supplied with user and maintenance manuals, along with regulatory compliance certification.
