The Company
AEP ALLESTIMENTI SPECIALI srl was founded in 1981, continuing the legacy of a family business established in 1956, which originally specialized in tank construction and structural steelwork.
During the 1980s, AEP began collaborating with a major local company in the urban sanitation sector, manufacturing water tanks and washing basins to be installed on their vehicle chassis.
The company later expanded its production by entering the water purification sector. This significant milestone drove the adoption of new technologies and cemented AEP’s historical connection to water management. The company began producing clarifiers and purification filters (up to 4 meters in diameter) for steelworks and chemical plants. Concurrently, leveraging its deep expertise in tank manufacturing, AEP also partnered with companies in the firefighting industry.
Having gained extensive experience across various fields—particularly in water conservation during bin washing—AEP began developing its own proprietary equipment and bin washers in 2007. These innovative products officially launched on the market in late 2008.
Today, AEP products are successfully distributed across Europe, the United Arab Emirates, and South America. With pride and determination, the entire team, led by Anna Pilenghi, works every day to continuously improve the product line and expand its global reach.
